The Candy Cane Story
The Candy Cane Poem About Jesus
Look at the candy cane, What do you see?
Stripes that are red, Like the blood shed for me.
White is for my Savior. Who's sinless are pure!
"J" is for Jesus my Lord, That's for sure!
Turn it around, And a staff you will see,
Jesus my shepherd, Who was born for me.

The Puddle
The Puddle
Eleanor Jewett
I found a puddle yesterday
Not bigger than a minute;
And yet it was not very small
For all the sky was in it.
The puddle trembled in the wind,
Afraid that it might dry.
You see, it was so proud to be
The mirror of the sky!

The Greatest Man In History
The
greatest man in history named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called
him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no
medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings
feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a
tomb, yet He lives today.

A Still Small Voice
Then he said
"Go stand on the mountain
before the Lord."
And behold the Lord passed by,
and a great and strong wind
tore into the mountains
and broke the rocks into pieces
before the Lord,
but the Lord was not in the wind;
and after the wind an earthquake,
but the Lord was not in the earthquake;
and after the earthquake a fire,
but the Lord was not in the fire;
and after the fire
a still small voice.
